January 31st Serve Austin Sunday

1. DownTown GrillOut: On the corner of 7^th and Neches from 4-6pm we will be feeding over 300 of Austin’s homeless population with grilled hamburgers, chips, and sodas. If you have never served at a GrillOut, let me recommend this project for you, if you have, let me challenge you to try another project. (4-6pm)
2. Restore Soli Deo Gloria: On the Corner of 4^th and Pedernales from 3-5pm we will be renovating Soli Deo Gloria so that we can better meet the felt needs of the poor and marginalized in East Austin. (2:30-5:30pm)
3. Restore East 22nd Street: Between 1902-1908 East 22nd Street we will be partnering with Blackland Community Development to help restore and renovate transitional housing for about nine homeless families who are actively seeking to get off the streets. We need a couple guys out on this project who know sheet rock (1:30-4:30pm)
4. Extreme MakeOver Martin: On 1601 Haskell Street, we will be teaming up with Communities in Schools to create a conducive learning environment for one of the class rooms at Martin Middle School. (2:30-5pm)
5. Restore Jackies: Join us as we partner with Jackie’s Fine Arts School as we continue to beautify the campus and facility for the children that Jackie serves. (2:30-5:30pm)
6. childCARE: Often time many are held back from volunteering due to their young ones.  So, Austin New Church, is providing childCARE for infants through the age of 5 years so you can serve this city with us!
